Uruguay and China will explore possibilities to cooperate in communication and information industry projects and will study a memorandum of understanding for projects and industrial parks. In addition, the Asian country will cooperate in the training of teachers in 3D printing for manufacturing, according to the dialogue between the Minister of Industry, Carolina Cosse, and the Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology, Miao Wei.
The Uruguayan hierarch, who closes this Monday the tour of China, pointed out the infrastructure that Uruguay has, including fiber optics, the Data Center and the submarine cable. She also detailed the characteristics of the national software industry. "We understand that it had to have a very important role in the commercial and cultural integration with China, that is why this mission is with 30 Uruguayan companies".
