The Uruguayan Society of Telemedicine and Telehealth is organising the "I International Forum on Telemedicine and Telehealth", Montevideo-Uruguay, with the support of the Cuti and the SMU Health Foundation.
This event, which brings together the best specialists in Telemedicine and Telehealth from the region and the world, will take place on 11 and 12 May 2017 at the headquarters of the Sindicato Médico del Uruguay (Bv. Artigas 1565, Montevideo-Uruguay).
It is carried out under the slogan "Towards a Framework for the Implementation, Incorporation and Standardisation of the use of Telemedicine in Uruguayan Health Organisations" and following the guidelines of the WHO/PAHO.
It will analyse the implementation of Telemedicine services in real healthcare environments, the interactions that occur in the process of implementing ICTs and the organisational transformations, management models, cultural changes and care services.
The Forum will feature renowned national and foreign professionals in the areas of Telemedicine, Telehealth, and Health Information and Communication Technologies.
It will cover national and international experiences, the current state of ICT in healthcare organisations, the importance of legal law in Telehealth, the importance and responsibility of Telemedicine and Telehealth in daily practice and the advances of Big Data, IoT, Home Care, Apps, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
It is a good opportunity for Cuti partners to present their product related to the health area. In addition, the event will be broadcasted in several Latin American countries and for organisational reasons, there are only 8 places for exhibitors.
