Call for Start-Ups of the National Academy of Engineering

We are calling for start-ups interested in making a 3-minute pitch in the framework of the next annual congress of CAETS, the world organization of Engineering Academies, to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, June 22-25, 2020.

This congress brings together important figures in world engineering, and a significant participation from South Korean industry is expected.

Conditions of participation

Participating start-ups must fit into one of the themes selected for the congress, which are:

Hyper-connected life
Smart energy networks in urban environments
Climate change issues and challenges in urban environments
Industry-engaged engineering education

To participate, start-ups must submit:

a pitch of 2 minutes maximum, in video, in English language (a link to a video on the Web is requested)
a 5-page maximum document, in English or Spanish, describing the background of the start-up and the start-up team. The document must include a contact telephone number and email address.

These elements must be sent to the e-mail address acadinguy@gmail.com until 01/11/2019 at 23:59, with the subject "CONVOCATORIA NAEK 2020".
