Un estudio concluyó que el futuro de las apps estará definido por la inteligencia artificial y el «machine learning», al igual que determinó que una gran parte de los jóvenes creen que serán reemplazados por estas tecnologías en el desempeño de sus empleos.
According to a report by Foresight Factory, companies need to adapt to a new technological reality if they don't want to die in the race. In addition, they must develop proactive and transparent collaboration models that help employees integrate with new technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI). "This is crucial in a context in which the new EU Data Protection regulation will mark the evolution of the digital economy, as will the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence or machine learning," the report reads.
AI worries people a great deal, with 41% of 16-25 year olds believing that their current jobs will be done by machines in the near future.
The future of apps and virtual reality
Another section of the study points out that augmented reality applications will be seen more frequently in the medium term. In that context, a new category called "mixed reality" will emerge, in which app interfaces will converge to innovate in software and hardware. "Location will become irrelevant to many aspects of communication, learning and experience creating the concept of individual realities." The report warns that as users deepen their "technological existence," the threats will grow.
"To keep pace, developers will need to incorporate broader ecosystems into their apps, as well as anticipate interfaces that integrate biometric and voice capabilities," the report says, concluding that "users will demand new experiences when using augmented or virtual reality devices."
