In addition to participation in the conference, the mission will also include at least one day of activities and visits to the Waterloo Corridor, the city's main technology hub.
Leonardo Loureiro, President of Cuti, tells of his experience visiting this city and talks about Canada as a new market of opportunities.
"On 10 and 11 December, I had the pleasure of participating with the Ambassador of Uruguay in Canada, Martin Vidal, in the Toronto Global Forum, one of the most important forums in North America. "Navigating a World in Disruption" was the common thread of all the activities planned for the forum. The topics addressed in the different panels revolved around the fact that, in the current era, "change seems to be the only constant", and in this framework, issues related to the major trends and challenges of the contemporary world were discussed, among them: how to maximise the potential of technological advances.
In 2019, the city of Toronto will host for the first time the Collision conference, one of the fastest growing events for startups in North America. Cuti is working together with the Embassy of Uruguay in Canada and Uruguay XXI to coordinate the trip of a delegation of technology companies to participate in this event and to carry out activities focused on exploring the technology industry and ecosystem of this country. This will be the first mission of our industry to this market and all our partners are invited to participate".
