TestingUy, a conference held since 2014 with the aim of generating a space for exchange and dialogue between specialists and stakeholders in the field of testing, will take place from 2 to 7 August.
The event will be 100% online and will feature 11 talks in Spanish, 8 in English, 12 lightning talks and 11 workshops, with more than 55 speakers from around the world. On the event's website the agenda and registration for the talks and workshops are already available on the event website.
Monday 2 August at 18hs will be the opening of the event. After that, the afternoon block of the whole week will be exclusively for talks and lightning talks in Spanish. Workshops in Spanish and English will take place in the morning block on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday mornings reserved for talks in English. It is expected that in addition to the tester community from our country and the region, people from all over the world will also participate.
Challenge
The big novelty for this year is the inclusion of a challenge with important prizes. The challenge consists of 24 hours to test a system in order to find the most important problems and bugs. The findings will be an important part of the challenge, as well as the strategy defined, the decisions taken and the quality of the work done. The rules of the challenge are also available on the event's website.
Organisation
TestingUy is organised by Claudia Badell (Jigso Labs), Eng. Guillermo Skrilec (QAlified) and Gustavo Guimerans (Centro de Ensayos de Software - CES) together with a team of collaborators, composed this year by 10 people.
