Ranked by the selection committee of the OAS, Cisco and the Citi Foundation, among 117 projects submitted, ModSecInt is the only Uruguayan project among the 12 selected projects.
This project aims to implement a decision engine that integrates the attack detection capabilities of WAF (Web Application Firewall) ModSecurity with the result of consulting models trained to learn from the behaviour of the applications to be protected.
The project team is formed by expert engineers in computer security from Tilsor and researchers from the Instituto de Computación de FING-UdelaR and the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
