etermax, the international technology company behind global phenomena such as Preguntados and Apalabrados, is kicking off its third season of etercoding. The series of virtual meetings aims to share best practices in programming with the entire community of programmers. Starting on Thursday 8 July at 18:30, they will be broadcast weekly on its channel on Twitch channel y YouTube channel.
To continue to develop talent and grow the technology industry, etermax shares its best practices to all those interested in learning, training or acquiring new programming skills. In the first edition of 2020, problem solving and building a code in a collaborative way were carried out, while in 2021 came the second cycle where the thematic axis was the Unity development platform. This time, Kotlin will be the protagonist of the programme.
In order to share knowledge and explore tool functionalities, the first kata will be "Introduction to Kotlin: A New Hope".. Programmers and programming enthusiasts will be able to learn about the particularities of the code, its utilities, how it is implemented, when to use it and its benefits. During the sessions there will be live practices and specialists from etermax specialists will participate to share their knowledge of the video game industry.
"Collaborative knowledge is the basis for the technology ecosystem to keep expanding. We want more curious people to join this exchange to form more skilled talents," expressed Fernando Scorpiniti, Chief Technology Officer of etermax. "We have been using Kotlin on backend and Android for more than three years, which allowed us to bridge the gap to foster cross-platform collaboration. Today, we closely follow the advancement of the programming language to stay on trend and make the most of it, for example by using Kotlin Multiplatform among other aspects." emphasised.
