Sembrando TIC is a program led by Sembrando together with 5 partners: Cámara Uruguaya de Tecnologías de la Información (CUTI), Globant, Mercado Libre, Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) and Manpower, which consists of granting 600 total scholarships to young people from the 19 departments of Uruguay to obtain training in: Junior Programmer.Requirements for applicants:
- Age: 18 to 25 years old
- Completed High School or UTU (up to 3 previous)
- Basic computer skills and English will be an asset
- Not to be currently attending any technical (UTU/similar), university or programming training.
- Have a personal computer and an Internet connection
Profile of Graduation
The Junior Programmer will be able to:
- Generate technological solutions for micro-enterprises.
- Develop online technologies for products and services
- Implement in programming language basic functionalities required by a micro-enterprise.
- Extract and analyse data for business planning purposes.
- Create and manage tools for results dissemination and product marketing.
- Analyze basic cost and investment estimates
