BUENOS AIRES, Argentina. March 2020.
VU Security, a cybersecurity company focused on fraud prevention and identity protection, announces that it will make its remote identity authentication solutions available to governments and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
The company, which has been in the market for more than ten years, seeks to enable citizens around the world to carry out transactions from the comfort of their homes. The software can remotely validate that a person is who they say they are and give them access to online platforms for different types of transactions. For example, it allows seniors to take life tests with voice or face recognition via WhatsApp.
In the same way, the company will provide systems to protect the organisations' IT resources, so that staff can access the cloud without risk and avoid potential threats. This is especially the case for people who are part of risk groups and have to do mandatory quarantine.
"Since our inception, VU's mission has been to improve the quality of life of citizens, and we believe that in today's times, we need to act fast. We will continue to work with leaders on whatever is necessary to mitigate the impact of this situation that affects us all," says Sebastian Stranieri, CEO of VU.
These tools are available for rapid implementation with the aim of resolving the consequences of the closure of face-to-face centres, as well as the difficulties of digitising work in a short period of time.
Stranieri personally invites the heads of government and non-profit organisations to contact him in order to align efforts and collaborate in whatever is necessary to cope with this situation.
